This year, we're running the Pittsburgh Marathon Relay for the Western PA Humane Society. Many of us here at Mexi-Casa have adopted dogs and cats, all of whom have changed our lives for the better. Animal rescue is near and dear to our hearts and so we're doing what we love to help local animals find their 'forever' homes.  The Birth of a Legend-A Brief account of the History of M.C.

 

 Mexi-Casa was established in July of 2003 when a humble taco-maker from Dormont decided to take his gift and share it with the world. His gift...creating delightful Tex-Mex BBQ dishes served in huge portions at great prices in a super-clean, super-friendly restaurant and bringing smiles to the faces of all who eat there. With a simple but solid menu and a killer guacamole recipe, he ventured into the land of restauranteering and opened the corner stone of Dormont's Mexican culture and cuisine which is known as Mexi-Casa.....

But something was missing. So in the fall of 2005, he got himself a liquor license, a few bottles of tequila, and a case or two of Corona. Behold, the Mexi-Casa Cantina.

Today, Mexi-Casa stands proudly on the corner of West Liberty Ave and Hillsdale Ave in Dormont, just a short drive from Downtown Pittsburgh. Our menu is packed with over 40 different burrito combinations (all made to order pretty much however you want), quesadillas, tacos, salads, jumbo grilled chicken wings, ribs, and some more traditional style Mexican dishes. We have a great kids' menu with prices you can't beat, and desserts to die for. Our bar is fully stocked with a great selection of domestic, premium, and import beers and you will not find a bar for miles with the kind of tequila selection we have. At Mexi-Casa, you may come for the burritos but you'll stay for the margaritas. Our drink menu is quite respectable and is growing by the day. Bored with margaritas? Your bartender will have something up her sleeve to shake things up. Just ask. We've recently added a bunch of sweet flat screen TVs to make Mexi-Casa a great place to watch Steelers and Penguins games. Add our game day drink specials to the mix and you can't lose. Stop in and check us out or call ahead for take-out!
